Mrs. Giannakopoulos has worked as a producer in TV at NBC Universal. She has also produced 4 feature length documentaries with "My Child – Mothers of War" winning a number of awards around the country and airing on PBS. Angeliki was invited to speak at TEDx Culver City about "My Child." She is the Co-Founder of the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival. She is the playwright of the award winning plays “A Marriage”, “Ten Stabs for Ten bullets” & “My Child”. In 2019 Ms. Giannakopoulos along with her producing partner Jean Smart formed SmartAngel Entertainment with their first project "MISS MACY" being sold to Amblin Partners with Oscar nominated director Tate Taylor ("he Help," "The Girl On The Train") attached to direct. ​
