We now offer dramaturgy services!
The aim of this particular service is to provide playwrights with feedback on their work. All scripts are read by LAWC’s Producing Artistic Director, Che’Rae Adams.
There are three steps: Step 1. We will read your script and give you feedback—generally via email, phone or in person—on what works and what doesn’t. Step 2. The writer takes the notes and incorporates them into his or her rewrites Step 3. We will read a new draft of the script and discuss the rewrites with you, in person, via email or over the phone. All three steps should take place within a six month time period.
Price is $200
(payment must be made before process can begin)

(Projects over 125 pages will be charged an extra $1.00 per additional page)
We also offer a chance to get notes on your script without the dramaturg reading your rewrite. Although it is not as thorough of a process, we do understand that it is a less expensive way to get notes and do the rewrites on your own. After the dramaturg reads your script, she will send you notes via email or phone or meet with you in person.
